LIPS
A exploration in different creative lip makeups. A collaboration between myself and makeupartist Johanna Nomiey. We shot the beautiful model Julia K from MIKAs Stockholm. We deliberately kept the skin feeling rough and naked. so that Julias natural freckles and pigment would be visible as a contrast to the lips.
Behind The Scenes
Here's a little peak on how it went down. As you can see we had a two light setup. Main light a Profoto D1 with magnum reflector shooting through a large 1.8x1.8 m scrim for softening the light. Second light is also a D1 250ws fitted with a Pro Globe. The light is used as a fill and hair light.
