I got this idea that I wanted to make a interpretation of a item with fashion and beauty photography, I have seen lately a lot of photography interpreting butterflies, flowers, or other living things, So I thought that I wanted to interpret something dead, colorful and created by nature. We shot this editorial for Odalisque Magazine in the early summer and made it a excercise for ourselves to not get comfortable in the stereotypic male/female model posing. So our challenge was to give the models equal amount of space and play with strength and vulnerability, masculine and feminine.
