Ebba Brahe SS16 Collection

Recently I was honored to shoot the special SS16 collection of Ebba Brahe fine jewellery. In the collection for SS16, Ebba Brahe turns focus to the busy bees and the fact that they are facing extinction. For each sale, a donation will be placed to a foundation working towards saving the bees.

We shot this campaign in my studio and had two flowerbeds that we designed. We planted the bees on the bed in different layouts until we got two images that we thought was appealing.

As you see in these behind the scenes shots, We used a soft light with two layers of roscoe 1 stop diffusion filter in front of our light source to give it a very soft feeling. We also added a small flag to flag of the direct light hitting our jewellery. We added a snoot to gain some pop in the diamonds and took multiple exposures giving us the best working material for our post production.
